Throwing of the Grape

February 20th

The sixth annual ‘Throwing of the Grape’ is a boutique food, wine and music festival to celebrate the first wine harvest at Oakover Winery for 2016!

You’ve heard of ‘La Tomatina’ in Spain where the streets are filled with over-ripened tomatoes… well this is the Australian version (with grapes)!

We’re talking wine tasting, great local food selections, grape stomping, live music, silent disco's, amusements, DJs and of course GRAPE THROWING!

Tickets also include an Oakover Summer Sangria on arrival!

The infamous Grape Throwing is only one part of a big day and will take place in a dedicated fenced-off area, so it’s up to you if you’d like to join in – you won’t get grapes thrown on you if you don’t want to.

You can choose the option of purchasing bus transport, or you can buy an ‘entry only’ ticket and make your own way there.

We hope you can join us for Summer in the Valley for a great West Australian tradition! And without doubt the most fun that you’ll have at an event this year!
